You can create contact lists by simply uploading a CSV file with contact details you've gathered from your own database or gotten from others.
It is important to note that:
Outbase doesn’t verify the email addresses of contacts added from a file-based audience.
The maximum number of contacts that you can upload in one file is 10,000.
Uploading your list of contacts is easy! Just follow these simplified steps:
From a Campaign View:
Click the Configure button in the List section.
If there aren't any lists available, you'll have the option to Upload List or go to the Search view to find contacts.
From the Your Lists Page:
Navigate to Data & Targeting > Your Lists.
Click the Upload List button located in the top right-hand corner.
Choose the method that suits you best and start your campaign with your own contacts list!
Name your list and upload the desired file:
Open the pop-up, give your list a name, and upload your file. You can drag and drop the file or click "browse" to select it from your device.
If needed, download the CSV template to format your data correctly. Your file should have at least one column with email addresses. Including additional information like first name, last name, job title, company, industry, size, and location is beneficial for targeting.
Click Next to proceed.
Map your data:
Outbase automatically identifies fields with similar names. Adjust any mappings or leave blanks for missing fields.
Import additional fields, if any.
Choose additional fields to import that weren't automatically mapped. These fields can be used as custom variables in your email templates.
Complete Import:
Finish by clicking "Import." Your audience is now set up and ready for your campaign!
When you import your file, we'll check for any missing or badly formatted email addresses, and remove any duplicates. You'll then have the option to download and review any records that were removed.
